Hi I like your xna shader tutorials and I have done 1,2 and 3 for xna 4.0. Is there going to be a 4th one?

    dear digitalerr0r,

i have viewed your tutorial about the blur shader and about Post process Grayscale, and i would like to use the effect files for a school project. may i do that?

thanks in advance, great tutorials by the way!!

  3. He – appreciate the blog. However I could use a tutorial on Glow (Self Illumination ) Mapping – for example… a portion of the texture unaffected by shadows or light sources.

    Hi,

I really like your fourth tutorial on normal mapping for XNA 4.0. I am trying to add shaders to a game that I did for a school project but I have a little problem. I am using the same shader as in your tutorial but it seems that I have a small problem with the color because I have to put the ambiant color to 1.0 to see the full model. If I go under 1, the object becomes more and more transparent. I have been searching for a couple of days but I can’t find the error. The only difference that I have spotted is that I am using an .fbx file and you used a .x file for your tutorial, but I don’t know if it makes a difference.

    Thanks for your help!

  5. Seeing your speech on MSDN Tromsø made me remember why I wanted to become a programmer in the first place. Good work.
